IN THE MATTER OF
INSURA NCE :BIDS:
The following bids on Insurance were opened by Helen M. Dacey, County Clerk, at
10:00 a.m. on June 7, 1967 in the Deschutes County Courtroom: Lumbermen's; Bale's and
Teater Insurance Agency; Al Mahoney Agency; and Hale's Insurance Agency. No bid was
awarded at this time.
IN THE MATTER OF
ESTABLISHMENT OF
LARSEN ROAD:
The Court at this time ordered the establishment of Larsen Road, there being no
objections at the public hearing held this day. It is further ordered that the Deschutes
County Surveyor shall file a plat of said road, as surveyed on the ground, with the road
records of Deschutes County.
At this time Mr. Cummings and Mr. Turner attended the Court Session in the
interest of Larsen Road. The Court approved a center line survey of the extension of
the Larsen Road to meet the Arnold Market Road.
IN THE MATTER. OF
BRIGGS ROAD:
At this time the Court set July 19, 1967 as the Hearing date to make Resolution
on the Briggs Road. Mr. Alva Goodrich attended Court Session in the interest of this
road.
IN THE MATTER OF
GALEN BAKER ROAD:
At this time Ron Marceau and Al Santi attended the Court Session on behalf of
improvements on the Galen Baker county road.
IN THE MATTER OF
ROADS :IN LAPINE:
The Court at this time designated names for two public roads in the LaPine area
between the Foss county road and the Finley Butte county road on the east side of LaPine.
The public road in closest proximity to LaPine is to be named: Bonnie Way and the third
road between the two county roads, east of LaPine to be named: Hinkle Way. At this date
this leaves the middle road between Hinkle Way and Bonnie Way unnamed.

ACCFAS ROAD:
The Court at this time granted permission to Albert C. Gassner to construct
301 wd. access road on or across Deschutes County Fall River Road.
IN THE MATTER OF
JESURANCE BIDS:
On June 16, 1967 the Court awarded the Insurance Bid to Bend Insurance Agency
(formerly Halets Insurance Agency) for $28,761.00 for a three year period.
IN THE MATTER OF
ARCHY BRIGGS ROAD:
The Court made Resolution at this time to establish the following county road:
A strip of land for road purposes, being forty (40) feet in
width, being twenty (20) feet in width on each side of a
center line described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of the Old Dalles-
California Highway, which is south 0 231 28t1 west 657.93
feet and north 89 38t 0611 west 85.45 feet, from the center
of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 17 South,
Range 12 East of the Willamette Meridian and running
thence north 890 38t 0611 west 1323.5 feet; thence north
00 301 0711 east 395.0 feet; thence north 610 231 53" west
144.25 feet; thence north 850 231 53" west 530.8 fe8t;
thence north 60 07t 5011 west 317.23 feet; thence 49 141 5311
west 324.15 feet to a point by the end of the old Sheep Bridge.
and ordered the Roadmaster to post copies of said Resolution. Hearing on this Resolution
to be held the 19th day of July, 1967 to consider any objections or remonstrances which
may be filed on account of said proposed road.

MDVING A BUILDING:
The Court at this time granted a permit to Kenneth Holman to move a
231 411 building on or across Deschutes County right-of-way.
IN THE MATTER OF
INSTALLATION OF A
WATER LINE
The Court at this time granted a permit to Teeples & Thatcher Const., Indian
Ford Ranch Homes, to install a 6t1 water line across Deschutes County right-of-way.
A permit was granted to George F. Baker to install a 211 water line on or
across Deschutes County Blakely Road.
There being no further business, Court ajourned.
