IN THE MATTER OF
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY:
The Court at this time approved the purchase of Tract 1, Lytle Acres, 145 Penn
Avenue, Bend, Deschutes County (West 80 feet of Tract #1, Lytle Acres being a parcel of
land it N§j-W4- Sec. 32, Township 17S., Range 12 E.W.M.; being 145 Penn Avenue). This
property to be purchased from Land & Building Expansion Fund, General Road Reserve Fund
Budget, for the sum of $6,000.00.
IN THE MATTER OF
MUSEUM COMMITTEE:
At this time a Museum Committee, namely: Edna Brinson, Chairman; Ole Grubb;
and George Short attended Court Session in the interest of the possibility of securing
the Stone House at 1031 Harriman for a Pioneer Museum Building. The Court agreed to
contact the City Inspector and Fire Marshall to see what requirements are necessary to
bring this building up to standards for this purpose4 and the Court will report back to
the Committee.
IN THE MATTER OF
A DEED;
The Court at this time gave Deed to James H. McFadden & Edith J. McFadden and
William S. McFadden & Rose McFadden for Lot 12, Blk. 70, Bend Park Addition, City of Bend,
Deschutes County, for the sum of $150.00.
IN THE MATTER OF
CONSTRUCTION OF
PRIVATE ACCESS:
At this time the Court granted a permit to Cloy W. Dykstra to construct a
private access on or across Deschutes County right of way.
IN THE MATTER OF
ENGINEER"S ESTIMATES:
The Court at this time received the Deschutes County Engineer's estimates .on

COLUMBIA PARK
DEVELOPMENT NO. 2:
The Court at this time wrote a letter of authorization for the City of Bend
to apply for a Land & Water Project Application for Columbia Park Development, Phase II,
with the State Highway Department.
IN THE MATTER OF
OFFICE APPRAISER.-
The
PPRAISER:The Court at this time, upon the petition of Deschutes County Assessor,
Ike (N. J.) Donat, ordered that the Clerk place the name of Joan Rotsolk, Office Appraiser,
on the payroll at a salary of $350.00 per month; and at the end of six months be raised
to the amount of $100.00 per month, subject to the recommendation of the Assessor.
IN THE MATTER OF
TRANSFER OF FUNDS:
At this time the Court ordered that the Deschutes County Treasurer make the
following transfers as per the adopted 1967-68 budget specifications:
From the Motor Vehicle Fund to General Fund: $ 5,500.00
From the Road Fund to General Fund: 8,652.00
From General Fund to Civil Defense Fund: 1,770.00
From General Road Fund to Road Department
Reserve Fund: 50,000.00
IN THE MATTER OF
PART TIME JANITOR:
The Court at this time ordered the Clerk to place the name of Theodore Ray
Todoroff, Part time Janitor, at a salary of $125.00 per month, effective August 1, 1967.
IN THE MATTER OF
DANCE PERMIT:
At this time the Court, upon the petition of The Four Bangers Jeep Club of
Redmond, ordered that this Club, in connection with the Annual Four Wheel Drive Meeting
be granted permission to hold a Dance on that portion of Sec. 2 lying East of the Negus
Road, Twp. 15S., R. 13 E.W.M., during the evening of Saturday, August 12, 1967.
IN THE MATTER OF
PRIVATE ACCESS PERMIT:
At this time the Court granted a permit to Gilchrist Ranch, Tekampe Road to
construct a private access on or across Deschutes County Tekampe Road.
IN THE MATTER OF
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT:
At this time the Court signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Oregon
State Tax Commission covering maintenance services for 1967-68.
IN THE MATTER OF
ACCESS BRIDGE:
At this time the Court agreed to participate with Central Oregon Irrigation
to construct a bridge across the COI Canal, northerly through the SW4 of Sec. 15,
Twp. 17S., Range 12 E.W.M., providing public access across the COI right-of-way.

HALF-TIME CLERK:
At this time the Court ordered that the Deschutes County Clerk place the name
of Mrs. Jewell M. Stewart, Half-time Clerk, at a salary of $160.00 per month, effective
August 1, 1967.
IN THE MATTER OF
ENGINEERING ON
TUMALO FALLS ROAD:
The Court made Resolution that the Tenneson Engineering Corporation be
authorized to complete the survey on the Tumalo Falls Road project to complete the two
and one-half miles of county road adjacent to Bend City limits and prepare the necessary
documents for the work project of the Deschutes County Road Department.

LICENSE AS A WRECKER OF

At this time the Court approved the application of Redmond Auto Wrecking
Jonas Chevrolet, Hwy. 97 South, Redmond, Oregon; C. W. Jonas & Milton E. Jonas, owners.

RULES & REGULATIONS
FOR DESCHUTES COUNTY
ROAD ADVISORY COMMITTEE:
At this time the Court Resolved that Rules and Regulations of the Deschutes
County Road Advisory Committee be adopted for the procedural activity of the committee.
IN THE MATTER OF
ASPHALT & AGGREGATE BIDS:
On August 9, 1967, at 10:00 a.m., in the County Courtroom, Deschutes County
Courthouse, sealed bids were opened by Clerk Helen M. Dacey for the purpose of furnishing
and placing asphalt and aggregate for Deschutes County Road Department 0-33 Sealing
program and 0-9 oil mat, in accordance with State of Oregon Highway Dept. Standard
Specifications, Issue, May, 1964. Babler Brothers, Inc. was awarded the low bid of
$52,982,50.
IN THE MATTER OF
RE-APPLICATION OF
SEASONAL DISPENSER LICENSE:
The Court at this time recommended that a Seasonal Dispenser License be
granted for Mt. Bachelor Lodging, Inc.; this license has been previously submitted, but
denied by the State Liquor Control Commission. The season will cover from November 15,
1967 to May 15, 1968.
