James Travel IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY: On August 30, 1967 the Court held a Hearing on the previously advertised exchange of properties between Dr. Kenneth H. Oakley and Betty Lee Oakley, husband and wife at 10:00 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time in the Deschutes County Courtroom. Dr, and Mrs. Oakley attended the Hearing. As there were no objections to this exchange the Court unanimously recommended the Order for Exchange and Deed be prepared and made. IN THE MATTER OF APPRAISER, ASSESSORIS OFFICE: 110.10 At this time the Court ordered the Clerk to place the name of Darwin Henry Clark, Appraiser in the Assessor's office, on the payroll, effective September, 1, 1967 at the salary of $500.00 per month. IN THE MATTER OF STREETS IN RANCH WAYS ACRES: At this time the Court held a Hearing to consider any objections or remonstrances on account of acceptance of West Pumice Avenue, from the west side of 26th Street to the Euston County Road, and 25th & 26th Streets in Ranch Way Acres Ist Addition as County Roads. It was so ordered that these roads be accepted as County Roads being as there were no objections nor anyone attending said Hearing to remonstrate. IN THE MATTER OF REDEMPTION DEED: The Court at this time granted a Redemption Deed to Wallace K. Rempel in consideration of Two Hundred Sixty-eight and 90/100 ($268.90) Dollars for the following described parcel of real estate situated in the County of Deschutes, State of Oregon, to wit: Lot 16, South & East of Highway, See -36,, Twp. 15S, R.12 EW (1.33 acres). This Deed is made pursuant to the powers vested in the County Court by virtue of ORS 275.180 in consideration of the delinquent tax assessments accrued together with the interest at the rate of 6% thereon. IN THE MATTER OF ROADS IN TUMALO: Mr. Speakman and Mr. Ed Lake of Tumalo attended Court Session on behalf of improvements of roads of Wharton Street, 7th & 8th in Tumalo. IN THE MATTER OF BOARD OF EQUALIZATION: The Board of Equalization met September 5, and appointed Jess L. Yardley as Free Holder Member to this board in accordance with ORS 309.020. IN THE MATTER OF PERMIT: The Court issued an order at this bine to Central Oregon Irrigation District for 500 yards of fill material in Knott pit. -4- va It T *il 78 IN THE MATTER OF PREDATOR CONTROL PROGRAM: Court at this time ordered $250.00 be transmitted to the State Department of Agriculture, Salem, Oregon for Predator Control Program in Deschutes County, pursuant to provisions of ORS 610. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF AARON A. MUNDEN ROAD: Court at this time made a Resolution to vacate the Aaron A. Munden Road and ordered copies of this resolution to be posted in (3) three places along the said road to be vacated, and further ordered that Wednesday, October 4, 1967 at 10:00 a.m. P.D.T. at the County Court Room, Deschutes County Courthouse, Bend, Oregon be the same and is hereby the fixed date and time and place for the hearing of objections, if there be any why said road shall not be vacated. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF OREGON, CITY OF BEND & DESCHUTES COUNTY: The Court at this time entered into an Agreement with the State of Oregon, through its State Highway Commission, Deschutes County and the City of Bend to undertake the recreation project: Columbia Park Development (Number 2); Oregon Project 131. IN THE MATTER OF AGREEMENT WITH LYLE SABIN: At this time the Court entered into an Agreement with Lyle Sabin authorizing him to install and operate a radio transmitter on Awbrey Butte for $50.00 rental fee, annually, beginning October 1, 1967. IN THE MATTER OF QUIT CLAIM DEED: The Court at this time, September 12, 1967, made a Quit Claim Deed to R. F. Dwyer covering: Lot 9, Block 70, Laidlaw, Tax Lot #1700. It appearing that the County had through error taken tax title to Lot 9, Block 70 of Laidlaw on March 31, 1936: It further appearing that Mr. R. F. Dwyer had continuously paid the taxes on this parcel: It was ordered that the County Court issue a Quit Claim Deed. There being no farther business, Court adjourned.
