A permit is granted by Deschutes County ti the City of Redmond
to install a four inch (411) pipeon or across Deschutes County right-of-way. A de-
tailed description and map of this operation must be provided on the reverse side of
this ,Sheet. This permit is subject to the following general specifications and is
revzca.ble at any time upon written notice by the Deschutes County Court.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PARTICULAR INSTALLATIONS

rest^rSible for any or all damages to the existing pavement, and shoulders or,

A1n_ 1 Pipe Line Transverse: All pipe line installations
laid~trarn,v_-rsely is the rowd bed or right-of-way shall be installed in the following
manner: 11 pavement cuts prior to excavation shall be inadb ffg1th anbbbaking hammer
so as t- insure neat finish cut lines. All pipe lines shall be installed to a depth
nc, less tha,a two (2) feet below the existing roadside ditch elevation. In all
cases where a water line is installed in a transverse direction the water pipe must
be installed within a larger pipe which size shall be no less than six (6) inches in
di.a,meter. ck'f i.lling and Pavip&: The permittee shall be required to properly back-
fill the trench in such a manner as to guarantee a well compacted, stabilized sub-
base r~i^r to paving. The pavement must be replaced tc. its original line, crown,
and -rade i:rith an asphalt mixture to conform with the surrounding read bed. The
a~ca installation must be kept smecth for the traveling public at all times. The
permittee will be required at all times to take every precaution to prrtect the
traveling public. All signs and traffic controls shall be furnished by the permit-
regar~ t,, r, ther utility installatitns, such as gas lines, telephone lines, and
electric crnduits, all the general specifications shall apply if they are tr be run
under cr&und, with ene exception: It would not be necessary to have these lines
within a, l.arger pipe when crossing the right-o£-way.

Permit to install a four (4) inch pipe line and necessary pipe and fitting
to adjacent property lines along the south line of Volcano Street as platted
in Brownts First Addition, Deschutes County, Oregon more particularly de-
scribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of 19W Street
which point is sixteen (16) feet north of the south line of Volcano Street;
thence, easterly along a line parallel to and sixteen (16) feet from the
south line of Volcano Street to the westerly right-of-way line of the Old
Dalles-California State Highway.
