FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES
NOTICE OF HEARING
Pursuant to Deschutes County Ordinance No. 1, Section 136, and
ORS 215.060.
Notice is hereby given of a hearing to be held on the 26th day
of August, 1965 in the County Court Roo, Deschutes County Court House,
Bend, Oregon at 9:00 a.m. to consider an amendment to the interim zoning
ordinance for lands being acquired by Deschutes County from the U. S.
Government in Sections 2, 3, 10, 11, 14, 21, 23, 27, 28 and 29, and for
certain other lands in Section 21 and 28, all beint; in Township 15 South,
Range 13 E. W. M., easterly and southeafter],y if the city limits of Redmond,
Oregon, and, that,
The Deschutes County Planning Co=ission recommends to the Des-
chutes County Court an amendment to the said interim zoning ordinance, that,
The existing zoning of General Commercial Zone C-3 for all lands
in Section 21 and 28 east of the railroad right-of-way be revoked, and
further, that,
All lands being acquired by Deschutes County from the U. S.
Government be zoned as Heavy Industrial Zone M-2, except for the W1SW4SE~
and the E-,'~SEwSW4, Section 21, which will be zoned Suburban Agricultural
Zone S-A with primary use to be for geological and archeological protection
and studies; and except for those lands in Sections 21 and 28 west of the
railroad right-of-way which are now zoned General Commercial Zone C-3, and
further, that,
All other lands in Sections 21 and 28 east of the railroad right-
of-way and south of the city limits of Redmond, Oregon, be zoned as Heavy
Industrial Zone M-2.
