IN THE MATTER OF PERMIT
TO MOVE A BUILDING:
The Court at this time granted permission to Carl Spencer to move a
building over Studio Road to Butler Market Road and along Denser Road. Per-
mission was granted to K. J. Holman to move a building over the Bear Creek Rd.
IN THE MATTER OF
TRANSFER OF FUNDS:
The Court at this time ordered that $1650.00 be transferred from the budgeted
Civil Defense Fund to Civil Defense Non-tax Fund for secretarial salary.

IN THE MATTER OF
INSTALLING GAS LINE:
The Court at this time granted permission to Cascade Natural Gas
Corporation to install a two inch gas line parallel to the Slocum County Rd.
IN THE MATTER OF
REPAIRS TO GAS LINE:
The Court at this time granted permission to Pacific Gas Transmis-
sion Company to make repairs to a gas line on the Nelson Road.
IN THE MATTER OF
APPLICATION TO DESTROY RECORDS:
The Court at this time granted permission to the Clerk to destroy
records (O.R.S. 140 and 150) including all cancelled warrants to and including
1957, duplicates thereof and supplemental claims; cancelled checks and stubs on
the trust account of the County Clerk to and including 1957; poll books for 1956
and prior years.
IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE OF
PROPERTIES WITH MARVIN A. RUSSELL-
The Court at this time made resolution of its intention to exchange
certain county-owned lands with lands owned by Marvin A. Russell, LaPine, lands
to be exchanged described as follows:
Deschutes County to Marvin Russell: Block 25, T.L. 800, LaPine
Marvin Russell to Deschutes County: ?1.A portion of the NW1-4 4SW-4SWg
of Section 11, Township 22 South, Range 10 East described as follows:
Beginning at a point N 00 36** West 1009.44 feet and N 890 571 East
18 feet from the SW corner of Section 11: thence, N 890 57t East
122 feet; thence, S 00 361 East 100.5 feet; thence, S 890571 West
122 feet; thence, N 00 361 West 100.5 feet to the point of beginning.
Mineral rights to remain with the land.
The Court at this time ordered that the County Clerk give notice of a
hearing to be held in the Deschutes Co. Courtroom at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th day.
of September, 1965 for the hearing of objections to said proposed exchange.
IN THE MATTER OF
DEEDS TO COUNTY LAND:
The Court at this time executed the following deeds:
Deschutes County to Jack and Ethel Coleman, Lots 26 & 27, Block 114,
Hillman, for the sum of $130.00.
Deschutes County to James Yager, Lot 15, Block 17, LaPine for the sum
of $70.00.
Deschutes County to Roy and Irene Larson, Lot 8, Block 27, LaPine for
the sum of $56.00.
Deschutes County to Lawrence T. Nicholson, a portion of the Sg%g4E l of
Section 5, Townshi9 18 South, Range 12, described as follows: Beginning at a
point located S 89 351 5711 West 217.32 feet from the SE corner of the NE%NE4
of said Section 5: thence, S 98.78 feet; thence, W 100 feet; thence, N 98.08
feet; thence, N 890 351 5711 East 100 feet to the point of beginnings $180.00.
Deschutes County to George and Jessie Clapp, Lots 19 & 20, Resubdivision
of Block 24, Bend for the sum of $3,000.00.
Deschutes County to Donald and Bernice Hanks, North one-half of Tract
21, Deschutes Park, Bend for the sum of $800.00.
IN THE MATTER OF
INTERIM ZONING ORDINANCE:
A hearing having been held on the 26th day of August, 1965 in the
Deschutes County Courtroom at 9:00 a.m. to consider an amendment to the

Interim Zoning Ordinance, the Court at this time ordered that the following
proposed amendment be adopted:
For lands in Township 15 South, Range 13, Section 21-28 East of the
railroad right-of-way to be revoked, and,
Lands acquired from the U. S. Government on July 27, 1965 in Sections
2, 3, 10, 11, 14, 23, 27 & 29, Township 15 South, Range 13 be zoned Heavy In-
dustrial Zone M-2, except for the W!gWIISE4 and the E 9E ? , Section 21, which
will be zoned Suburban Agricultural; and except for lands in Sections 21 & 28
West of the railroad right-of-way now zoned General Commercial Zone C-3, and,
All other lands in,Sections 21 & 28 east of the railroad right-of-way
and south of the Redmond City limits be zoned Heavy Industrial Zone M-2.
IN THE MATTER OF
SKYLINER*S ROAD:
The Court at this time approved and signed an agreement with the
Forest Service to share costs in rebuilding the Skyliner's Road.
