The Court hired R. L. Martin, 330 F. Marshall, Bend, as storekeeper for the
Surplus Food Program as of July 27, 1964.

COOPERATIVE A(IREEKEWT:
The Court and the Supervisor of the Deschiltez National Forest entered into
an agreement for controlling; water hemlock in range lands of the Deschutes National
Forest.
IN TRF MATTER OF
INSTALLING PIPE LINE:
The Court granted Tite Knot Pine Mill permission to install a 6" pipe
parallel to a County Road.
IN THE MATTER OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION:
The Court appointed L. A. Phipps of LaP3.ne to the unexpired term of Dr.
James Smith of Redmond on the Deschutes County Planning Commission. Term to expire
Nov. 1, 1966.
At this time the Court accepted the written resignation of Brad Fancher
from the Deschutes County Planning Commission.
IN THE MATTER OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY FAIR BOARD:
At this time the Court appointed D. W. Miltenberger to the Deschutes County
Fair Board for a four year term ending April 1, 1969.
IN THE MATTER OF OPENING
STREET IN HILLMAN:
At this time the Court authorized the Roadmaster to open 17th Street in
Hillman from East C Street South to the South line of the Townsite.
IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF
CFR-TAIN STREETS IN HILI1 AN:
At this time, the Court reviewed the petition from property owners in S.W.
Hilllymn for vacation of certain streets. The Court :declined this petition in the
public interest.
