Plummer Roadmaster-Travel Exp. 31.00 IN THE MATTER OF SALARY INCREASE: The Court at this time moved to increase the salary of Deputy Sheriff Melvin Newhouse $17.00 per months this being retroactive to January 1. 1965. IN THE MATTER OF PURCHASE FOR HEALTH DEPARTMENT : The Court at this time moved to purchase chairs and letter for the Health Department office in Redmond,, Oregon. IN THE MATTER OF EXCHANGE OF LAND: The Court at this time made application to the Bureau of Land Management in Prineville for the exchange of certain lands. IN THE MATTER OF JUNK DEALERS LICENSE: The Court at this time issued a Second Hand and Junk Delaers License to Harry K. Behymer, Jr., doing business as K. B. Welding, Redmond, Oregon. IN THE MATTER OF BEER LICENSE: The Court at this time approved an application for a Package Store Class B License PB for Jess Revella Calbreath, Hub Grocery, LaPine, to be the J & H Grocery, LaPins. IN THE MATTER OF INFORMATION SIGNS: The Court at this time signed an agreement with North Century Seven, Inc. for the erection and maintenance of two informations signs located on the right of way of West Campbell Road and East Campbell Road. This agreement is to be for a two year period, and the rental price is $30.00 per year payable annually in advance. An agreement was also aigned with the Carlson Company for the use and maintenance of two information signs, one located on the County Courthouse property and one located on the Sunset Home property, rental price to be $30.00 per year. IN THE MATTER OF BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION: The Court at this time signed an agreement with the Oregon State Highway Department for the Boyd Acres Bridge construction. IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION FOR COUNTY ROAD: At this time the Court declared its intention to establish Lundgren Mill Road by Resolution. The Roadmaster was ordered to give notice of the Resolution by posting true copies thereof. Objections or remonstrances which may be filed on account of said proposed road will be considered and passed upon by the Court at a meeting on March 5, 1965. IN THE MATTER OF REFUND OF TAXES : The Court at this time ordered the Tax Collector to make a refund of taxes of $137.62 to Adilaide Diel, Bend. -3 - a 9 w317 IN THE FITTER OF CANCELLATION OF TAXES: The Court at this time ordered that the Tax Collector cancel the taxes assessed against Raymond E. Harden for the tax year 1960-61 because of an exemption filed on his property. The amount to be cancelled is $290.08. IN THE MATTER OF VACATION OF PLAT: The Court at this time considered a petition of D. J. Ward, President of Ward Corporation of Bend, asking that a certain portion of the subdivision called Wardts Tracts be vacated. The Court so ordered the vacation of thin portion, this being done at a special meeting on the 11th day of February, 1965. IN THE MATTER OF PURCHASE OF PROPERTY: The Court at this time ordered the purchase of the following two pieces of property: The south forty-four (44) feet of Lot 1, Block 5, North Addition, purchased from Drake for $4,500.00; Lot 2, Block 5, North Addition, purchased from Estebenet for $6,323.22. . IN THE MATTER OF RF VAL OF BEER LICENSE: The Court at this time approved the renewal of an RMBB License for Spring River Resort. IN THE MATTER OF FUEL BIDS: At this time bids for regulir-~and ~.pf+iium gibol&ne`~' diesel oillbr•.the roAd:'soad~>dspiirtman:b.,aad` fueel,::-ofl for:.Sumet Home were opened. Mid-Oregon Oil Co. was awareded the contract for regular gas at .1945 cents per gallon, premium at .2195 per gallon and diesel at .111 cents per gallon.
