The Court executed a deed to Richard J. Cowan et ax conveying the North-
west Quarter of Section 15 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 22
South, Range 23 E.W.M. for a consideration of $1120.00.
IN THE MATTER OF APPLICATION FOR BUSINESS
LICENSE AS A WRECKER OF MOTOR VEHICLES:
The Court approved the application of Edwin D. Meeker, Second and Scott
Street, Bend, Oregon, for a license to wreck motor vehicles.

IN THE MATTER OF SALARY RAISE
FOR COUNTY CLERKIS BOOKKEEPER:
At this time the Court approved a raise in salary for Irene Grimm from
$140.00 to $150.00 per month for half days.
IN THE MATTER OF HAZARDOUS
CONDITION OF WILCOX ROAD:
At this time the Court discussed the hazardous condition of the Wilcox Road
caused by the dumping of rocks in right of way.
IN THE MATTER OF VACATION
OF PORTION OF A COUNTY ROAD:
The Court made a resolution of its intention to vacate the following

portion of the Ovid We Be Riley Road:
Ala of that portion lying in the NEINE4 of Sec. 29, Twp. 17 So, Range
12 E,W.M, lying East of The Dalles-California Highway, 1961 allign-
ment; lying South of The Dones-California Highway, 1920 location;
and lying North of the North Unit Canal right-of-way.
The Court set May 15, 1963 at 10:00 o1clock A.M. as the time for hearing objections
and ordered that notices of the Resolution be posted,

IRRIGATION DITCH RIGHT OF WAY ALONG A COUNTY ROAD:
The Court granted Marvin Dawson of LaPine permission to use the roadside
barrow on the North side of the Masten County Road for a distance of approximately
one mile.
