8-509-Order Recorded 5/15/1963IN THE COUNTY COURT OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES In the Matter ) of ) ORDER Vacation of a Platted Street ) and a Platted Alley ) This matter having been presented before the Court the 3rd day of April, 1963, upon the petition of the Board of Directors of the Tumalo Grade School, requesting the vacation of a platted street and a platted alley in the Townsite of Laidlaw (Tumalo), Deschutes County, Oregon. And it further appearing that the said platted street and platted alley are impractical for use and should join the adjoining property. The said platted street and platted alley are located by the following description, to-wit: All of Bruce Avenue between Third and Fourth Streets, and the alley in Block 11 between Third and Fourth Streets. That there is also on file and of record the approval of the said Deschutes County Court, in and to the said vacation as herein set forth. That there is also in file and of record the certificate of Charles L. Plummer, County Roadmaster, averring to the placing and posting of notice of the aforesaid vacation on three places within the limits of the area to be vacated. That the reasons have been set forth by the petitioner for the necessity of the vacation they have petitioned for and it appearing to the Court that the petition has been filed with the County Clerk for thirty days or more previous to this date and the Court being fully advised in the premises, NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the platted street and the platted alley in the Townsite of Laidlaw (Tuma.lo), Deschutes County, Oregon are within the above described tract of land, shall be and the same are hereby vacated.
