This matter coming before the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners by
petitions containing the required number of signatures of persons living in the des-
cribed area, and said petitioners asking that a Livestock District be formed under the
provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes 607.013, and lying within the following boundaries
in Deschutes County, Oregon, to wit:
All of Deschutes River Woods Subdivision as filed in Book 6 of the
Record of Plats, Deschutes County, Oregon, (which includes parts
of Sections 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 36 in T. 18 S., R 11 E.,
W. M., also parts of Sections 19 and 20 in T. 18 S., R 12 E., W.M.)
excluding the following portion of said Deschutes River Woods
Subdivision from said district: That part of said Subdivision
lying westerly of the east bank of the Deschutes River.
and it being the intention of the Board of Commissioners to organize the above des-
cribed territory into a Livestock District named: Deschutes River Woods Livestock
District. The classes of livestock to be prevented from grazing at will are cattle
and horses.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED That a public hearing on the matter of such proposed
formation be held, and that Wednesday, the 16th day of July, 1975, at 10:00 a.m. of
said day, in the Deschutes County Courthouse Annex in Bend, Oregon, be set as the
time and place of said hearing. All interested persons may appear and be heard at
this time.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED That the Board of Commissioners publish the notice of
intention to form Deschutes River Woods Livestock District, and the time and place of
hearing, said publication to be in the Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation
in Deschutes County and circulated in proposed district. Said notice to be published
once each week for two successive weeks prior to time set for hearing.
