Luke and Michael M. Daly; Commissioner Tom De Wolf was out of the offi ce. Also present were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Mark Amberg, Legal Counsel; Sue Brewster and Larry Blanton, Sheriffs Office; and media representatives Barney Lerten of bend. com and The Bugle, and Chris Barker of the Bulletin. The executive session was called under ORS 192.660(1)(h), Pending or Threatened Litigation; and ORS 192.660(1)0, for the purpose of considering a public records request submitted by the Bulletin to re -review certain personnel records of former employees of the Deschutes County Sheriffs Office. Chair Daly opened the meeting at 10: OS a.m. LUKE: Move that this request be denied, and a request be made as to the reason for the request so the County can have an opportunity to weigh the public's right to know against the privacy of the individuals involved. DALY: Second. VOTE: LUKE: Yes. DALY: Chair votes yes. Being no further discussion, the meeting adjourned at 10:10 a. m.
