I believe it will be under the 25,000, however, I want to make sure that there is enough. It will not go over that amount if I purchase locally. I have gotten bids from numerous car dealers. Do you need more information to put in the proposal? Thank you for your help on this, Regards, From: Marty Wynne Sent: Wednesday, December 08, 2004 11:03 AM To: Laura J. Wolfe, ENP Subject: RE: A FINANCIAL QUESTION Laura, It is a pretty simple process. Once you get the OK from the Board to purchase the vehicle, we would prepare a resolution for the Board to approve, which would state the appropriation transfer amount required from the 911 contingency to the "capital outlay" category. A simple e-mail request to me, simply stating that the Board approved the purchase and that you would like a resolution prepared for the appropriation transfer, would initiate the resolution process. I hope this makes sense. Marty 1/12/2005 -----Original Message ----- From: Laura J. I been given permission by the a -board to purchase a vehicle for 9-1-1 -we have a desperate need... HOWEVER, this is a non -budgeted item for this fy. I know I can purchase off the state contract; however, before I even go there, I need to find out if this is even a viable option. I am certain, this budget would not sustain that purchase, and it would require going before the Commissioners for purchase out of contingency.. I am fuzzy about budget law how that would be.. and.. even if it is something I should pursue this FY - or plan to just put in fy 05-06... Your thoughts? Thanks for your help.
