We have identified an immediate need to purchase a replacement server
for the Sheriff's Office. The current server is used to run the Web-Leds
and Mugshot applications. The current server was given to us by County
IT over 3 years ago and was purchased in 2000. Dell has informed us they
will not support servers over 5 years old. The tape backup unit on the
current server is broken and we have not performed backups for six days.
If we don't replace this server we run the risk of having multiple agencies
having no access to the State LEDs and County Mugshot system.
