JUVENILE COMMUNITY JUSTICE DEPARTMENT
DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
TUESDAY, MARCH 29, 2005
Commissioners' Conference Room - Administration Building - 1300 NW Wall St.., Bend
Present were Commissioners Michael M. Daly, Tom De Wolf and Dennis R. Luke.
Also present were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Anna Johnson,
Commissioners' Office; and Jenny Chocole Birnie, Juvenile Community Justice
Director. No representatives of the media or other citizens were present.
The meeting began at 3:45 p.m. A copy of the agenda is attached.
The following items were briefly addressed.
• An update on Trillium services
• An update of meetings with Resource Center staff
• Federal lobbying for the girls' program
• Interaction with the District Attorney's Office
• ADA issues - i.e., a youth in detention in a wheelchair
• Community Justice in Rural Counties Conference
No official action was taken by the Board at this meeting.
Being no further items addressed, the meeting adjourned at 4:30 p. m.
