A Resolution Initiating the Vacation of a
portion of Right of Way of an Unnamed
Street off of Cattle Drive in Indian Ford
Ranch Homes Subdivision located in
Deschutes County, Oregon, Describing the
Property Proposed to be vacated, the
Reasons for the Vacation, and requesting
that the County Road Official file a Report.
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-100
WHEREAS, the owners of land abutting the proposed right-of-way to be vacated, petitioned for
vacation of a public road known as a portion of Right of Way of an Unnamed Street off of Cattle Drive located
in Indian Ford Ranch Homes Subdivision, in Deschutes County, Oregon; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined it to be in the public interest to
consider such vacation; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That it is the intent of the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, to
vacate a portion of Right of Way of an Unnamed Street off of Cattle Drive in Indian Ford Ranch Homes
Subdivision described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, because it
appears the road is no longer needed for public use, and will not be needed in the future.
Section 2. That the County Road Official shall file a Report with the Board of Commissioners,
describing the ownership and uses of property to be vacated, and whether the vacation would be in the public
interest, within fourteen (14) days of the date of this Resolution.

VACATION OF A PORTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY
A portion of right-of-way of an unnamed street adjacent to Lot 2 and Lot 13, Block 3,
Indian Ford Ranch Homes, a subdivision of record situated in the Southwest Quarter of
Section 27, Township 14 South, Range 10 East, Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County,
Oregon; being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a 5/8" iron rod at the southwest corner of said Lot 2, on the northeasterly
line of said Lot 13; thence, on the boundary of said Lot 2, N 57°00'00"E, 127.70 feet to a
point; thence S 33°00'00"E, 48.78 feet to a point; thence, leaving said boundary, S
57000'00"W, 185.37 feet to a point on the boundary of said Lot 13; thence, on said
boundary, N 22°39'46"E, 69.82 feet to a 5/8" iron rod; thence N 32°56'30"W, 9.40 feet
to the point of beginning.
Containing 7365 Square Feet, more or less
