The District has negotiated a solution with the neighbors, and isolated two 40 -acre parcels as having residential potential. The County holds a reversionary clause on the parcels. Commissioner DeWolf said that lie is concerned if other neighbors who were not a part of the agreement might complain. Commissioner Luke asked if there would be any long-term ramifications. Don Horton, Executive Director of the Bend Park & Recreation District, and the District's attorney, Sharon Smith, gave an overview of the issue and the agreement with the neighbors. They referred to an oversized aerial photograph of the area and pointed out the properties in question. Much of the property is zoned RR -10; others are zoned MUA-10 or EFU.
