Commissioners' Conference Room - Administration Building - 1300 NW Wall St.., Bend
No formal meeting was conducted. However, the County Forester submitted a
report dated April 11, 2005 in lieu of his monthly meeting with the Board.
A copy of the report is attached as Exhibit A.

Projects which have dominated my time since February update:
• Badlands Wilderness Designation
• Community Fire Plans for Sunriver, Sisters, Cloverdale, Black Butte Ranch and
Camp Sherman.
• New development proposals for wildland fire safety.
• County ordinance for vacant lots and defensible space.
Projects which will dominate my time for the next several months:
• Community Fire Plans for South County, Bend and Redmond.
• County ordinance for vacant lots and defensible space
• Project Wildfire, specifically the Fire Free Weekend and completing the business
plan goals.
• Preparedness, training and readiness for wildland fire season for 2005.
• Title II presentation and Title III review of grant applications.
• FY budget for 2005-06.
