In our FY 05-06 budget, we are reducing the 1.0 FTE Parole and Probation Records Technician position that is currently filled at .50 FTE by Lisa Stone. The remaining .50 FTE should be rolled into the Receptionist position so that Lisa Stone's P and P Records Tech position become .50 FTE and the Receptionist position becomes 1.0 FTE. Thank you. Becky -----Original Message ----- From: Judi Hasse Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 9:28 AM To: Becky Wanless Subject: FW: .5 FTE Receptionist Becky, Are you requesting an appropriation transfer? I need to know where you are transferring the appropriation from and then I need to have the cost broke out for salary and benefits listing each line -item. The line item for receptionist for your department is 355-8200-423.18-89. Please send this information back to me and I will begin processing the resolution for the Board. Thanks, Judi -----Original Message ----- From: Marty Wynne Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 7:59 AM To: Judi Hasse Subject: FW: .5 FTE Receptionist Hi Judi, Would you please contact Becky and ask her if she wants an appropriation transfer, and that we will need appropriate line -item information. Thank you. Marty -----Original Message ----- From: Becky Wanless Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2005 4:21 PM To: Marty Wynne Subject: .5 FTE Receptionist Marty - Today, at the BOCC's Administrative Liaison meeting, I requested approval to hire a .5 FTE Receptionist. This position was not included in our adopted budget. All three Board members were present at the meeting today and approved my request. We 9/27/2005 Message Page 2 of 2 will recruit for the position rather than use personnel available via temporary employment agencies. We will need to create a line item in the Personal Services section of our budget to track expenditures associates with this position. On another note, I thought that the suggestion made today that our department begin planning for next fiscal year's budget was very appropriate. I would propose to speak with Mike Maier when he returns next week about sitting down with the two of us. Does that sound ok or perhaps you have another thought? If you require any other information from our department, please let me know. Thank you, Becky 9/27/2005 N O U C N c O c O Co p N N a.
