Daly, Tom De Wolf and Dennis R. Luke. Also present were Mie Maier, County Administrator; and Dan Peddycord, Health Department. No representatives of the media or other citizens were present. The meeting began at 3: 30 p.m. See the attached agenda for a list of the items discussed. Backup documentation is also attached. No formal action was taken by the Board at this meeting. Priority # 1: Maintain Essential Public Health Services ➢ Update Departmental Strategic Plan for 2006-09. • See: Public Health Assessment Project • See : Community Health Profile Report • See : Current Strategic Plan • See : Recent Tri -Annual Agency Review findings • Integrate Planning efforts with Mental Health 8s CCF ➢ Advocate for Budget for Department Operations for FY 2005-06. • Budget Formation Feb -April 2005 Seeking PHAB representation • Incorporate business plan and objectives into Department Strategic Plan ➢ Advocate for continued monitoring and reporting on the Health of the Community. • Support annual or bi-annual Health Profile Report • Endorse collaboration with other Departments and Community groups to produce a high level report on priority community issues • Methamphetamine use • Youth Suicide • Child Abuse • Other? Participate in Regional Health Safetynet Coalition and perhaps a Summit Meeting to address a community wide response to Access to Care. Plan a topic agenda and strategy. 2. Support Best Practice approach for achieving a systems - wide collaboration between health care system and safetynet providers. III.
