Daly, Tom De Wolf and Dennis R. Luke. Also present were Mike Maier, County Administrator; and Dan Peddycord, Health Department. No representatives of the media or other citizens were present. The meeting began at 2:15 p.m. See the attached agenda for a list of the items discussed. The Board was briefed on the need for a needle exchange program. No formal action was taken by the Board at this meeting. W HealthyStart - Medical Provider Agreement. • ECWG only provider to return the pre -qualification form. • We will initiate discussions with them regarding a new agreement. Needle Exchange Program. • Concept presented to Public Safety Coordinating Council. • Concept to be presented to PHAB, and MHAB • Media has expressed keen interest. • Advise: Don't over dramatize this issue, much like WNV.
