Daly, Tom De Wolf and Dennis R. Luke. Also present were Mike Maier, County Administrator; and Timm Schirnke, Solid Waste Department. Also present were several representatives of local hauling and recycling firms and a representative of the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. No representatives of the media were present. The meeting began at 2:15 p.m. A copy of the agenda is attached for reference. The group also addressed closing the Alpha transfer station; the Board will consider this possibility. The Board asked Mr. Schimke to do more research on SB 740. He is also to check with Susan Ross regarding moving the boiler tank from the Courthouse to Knott Landfill. No formal Board action was taken.
