LUKE, ommissioner Judi Hasse From: Mike Berry Sent: Tuesday, November 15, 2005 12:41 PM To: Marty Wynne Cc: Judi Hasse; Tom Blust; David Givans Subject: Request to change Surveyor's Office Petty Cash Fund to a Change Fund Marty, I would like to request that the Surveyor's Office Petty Cash fund be re -designated as a Change Fund. In the Internal Audit Report on the transition on end of Elected Surveyor position — Surveyor's Office (Report # 04/05-7), David Givans made the following recommendation: Section 2.3, Petty Cash Subject: Use of monies. Recommendation: Re -designate petty cash fund as change fund Since this Petty Cash fund has been used as a de facto Change Fund for many years, this would simply be a house keeping matter. The fund contains $50.00 and is used solely for making change. It has not been used for petty cash for a number of years. Please let me know what procedures I need to go through to achieve this re -designation. Sincerely, Mike Berry, P.L.S.
