A Resolution Transferring Appropriations
Within Various Funds of the 2005-2006 * RESOLUTION NO. 2005-142
Deschutes County Budget and Directing Entries
WHEREAS, attached is an e-mail from the Property & Facilities Director requesting a transfer
of appropriations, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Deschutes County Budget to
accommodate the request; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:

Susan,
I just wanted to clarify what was discussed between you and Teri Maerki this morning because it changes the
request you sent below. It is my understanding that we want to budget a full-time FTE in the Customer Service
Clerk 11 position. This would be an increase of .50 FTE. I also understand from Renee Warner that you are
now going to fill this position at a 1.0 FTE instead of .75 as you discussed below. Please let me know if this is
the direction you want to go. Also, I didn't see that this request went to Marty. He approves all resolutions
before they are sent to the Board so I included him on this e-mail.

Hi Judi. Here is a spreadsheet that Teri Maerki prepared for me for an additional FTE in Building
Services. The Board has authorized adding .5 FTE to the existing customer service clerk position for a
full 1.0 FTE. I am only filling .75 FTE at this point. Hope that all makes sense. Is there any way I can
get a resolution prepared to submit for Board approval on Wednesday? The resolution number for you
to use is 2005-142. Thanks.
