FROM: Bob LaCombe, Acting Director
Juvenile Community Justice
SUBJECT: Request for Change in FTE's & Transfer of Appropriations
DATE: November 18, 2005
Deb Galvin, a half time Community Justice Officer II, is retiring at the end of December
and we want to hire a full time Community Justice Officer I to replace the .50 FTE CJOII
and add .50 to bring it to full time in the CJOI category. The additional hours will be
dedicated to responding to and serving the needs of victims of juvenile crime, services
that will be reduced and/or no longer provided to us through the District Attorney's
Office effective January 1, 2006.
An appropriation transfer will need to be made in order to stay within the budget in the
Personnel Services category. Please process an appropriation transfer increasing the
Personnel Services category by $8,357.38 and reducing Contingency by the same amount
(see attached worksheet).
Please call me at extension 1721 if you have any questions.
