BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON
A Resolution Declaring Certain Personal
Property Surplus and Directing RESOLUTION NO. 2006-011
Disposition.
WHEREAS, certain personal property described as a Mobark Chipper owned by the County
Road Department, is no longer needed by Deschutes County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds it to be in the public interest to transfer
the equipment herein described to the City of Bend Public Works Department, a non-profit
organization serving the residents of Deschutes County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bend Public Works Department will make use of this donation in their
maintenance program; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That the equipment described as a Mobark Chipper Equipment #7-180/Serial #
3116, Plate # E168056, is hereby declared to be surplus property of Deschutes County.
Section 2. That the equipment declared surplus herein be donated to City of Bend Public
Works Department.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and signing by the
Board of County Commissioners.
