BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES
IN THE MATTER OF )
TIIE SISTERS RURAL FIRE ) ORDER AND

PROTECTION DISTRICT )
It appearing that a special election was held on
October 5, 1970 within the limits of the proposed Sisters Rural
Fire Protection District upon the formation of said District, and
it appearing that at said election there were a majority of votes
cast in favor of the formation of the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that a Rural Fire
Protection District called the Sisters Rural Fire Protection Dis-
trict is hereby ordered and proclaimed to be established and that
the boundaries of said District are the same as those stated in
the order calling for the election for the formation of said
District, d n d
wHEREAS at such election so held there was submitted to the
voters of said district the names of the candidates to be elected
as directors, with the five candidates receiving the highest number
of votes to be elected directors, and
WHEREAS the court having canvassed the votes for direc-
tors does find that the following named persons were duly elected as
directors of said District:
Harold D. Barclay ------49
William E. Gleeson -----45

Ben R. RoIphe----------40
Herman Hermanson------- 39
NOW, THEREFORE, the County Clerk shall cause to issue
certificates of election to each of the five candidates above named
who received the highest number of votes for election as,directors

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that this order be entered in
the Journal of the Board of County Commissioners.
