FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES In the Matter of the ) Improvement'of A ) Portion of'Scenic Drive; ) Mountain Drive from ) ORDER FOR IMPROVEMENT BY CONTRACT State Highway 20 to ) Scenic Drive and Meadow ) Lane in Deschutes County, ) Oregon. ) 3 WHEREAS, a petition to improve a portion of Scenic Drive; Mountain Drive from State Highway 20 to Scenic Drive and Meadow Lane, Deschutes County, Oregon, was filed with the Board of Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, on the 2nd day of August, 1972; and, WHEREAS, said petition was executed by 84% of the property owners representing 90% of the property fronting on said street; and, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did refer said Petition to the County Engineer for his report; and, WHEREAS, the Engineer found said project to be feasible; and, 4); WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did cause to be mailed a written notice of the favorable report and the estimated cost of the im- provement to each of said property owners, calling for remonstrances against the said project; and, WHEREAS, only one remonstrance was received from the property owners; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, pursuant to the provisions of ORS 371.635,that a portion of Secnic Drive; Mountain Drive from State high- way 20 to Scenic Drive and Meadow Lane, Deschutes County, Oregon, be improved by contract, said improvement to be with an 0-9 paved surface 24 feet in width, with 4 foot gravel or cinder shoulders, drainage facilities as required and reconstruction of street entrances where they now exist.
