Daly and Dennis R. Luke. Also present were Mike Maier, County Administrator; Timm Schimke, Solid Waste Department; and various representatives of the solid waste industry. No representatives of the media were present. The meeting began at 2:15 p.m. A copy of the agenda is attached for reference. No formal action was taken by the Board, although the Board asked Mr. Schimke to contact the neighbors regarding a cellular phone proposal, and report back to the Board. They also requested that he submit a closure plan at the next meeting regarding the Alfalfa site. Environmental Engineering Solicitation Selection Criteria Selection of the consultant is expected to be made based on the proposals submitted. A selection committee will review, evaluate and score each proposal on a scoring system of 0 to 5 for each of the following criteria: 1. Quality and thoroughness in the approach to the scope of work. 2. Experience and expertise of assigned staff and /or subcontractor. 3. Responsiveness of the consulting firm 4. Clarity and organization of the proposal. 5. Proposed fee. The scores will be weighted by a factor to reflect the importance of the selection criteria. Criteria #1 score will be weighted by a multiplier of 3, criteria #2 & criteria #3 by a multiplier of 2, and criteria #4 & criteria #5 by a multiplier of 1. 2. Negus Transfer Station 3. Other Alfalfa Transfer Station Customer Informatioin Since our initial discussion on this issue, we have been recording names and addresses of customers that have used the transfer station. The data runs from June 05 to present. Total Number of Households 83 Total Number of Site Visits 247 Single visits 27 2 visits 19 3 visits 16 4 visits 6 5 visits 6 6 visits 2 7 visits 3 10 visits 2 12 visits 1 15 visits 1 Average # of visits per household in 7 months 3 Households that visit 1/month or more 7 (Probably people who do not take garbage service and rely solely on the transfer station) Households that visit less than 1 in 2 months 46 (Probably people who take garbage service and use the transfer station for odd cleanups) Others 30 (May or may not be taking service. Still visit the transfer station average of 4 times in 7 months)
