N THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS i OF THE STATE OF OREGON FOR THE COUNTY OF DESCHUTES 1 the 'Matter ) ) ) of "ro osed Formation of ) les'i LaPine Livestock District ) O R D E R WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, has received petitions containing the required number of signatures of persons living in the described area, and said petitioners asking that a Livestock District be formed under the provisions of Oregon Re�,ised Statutes 607.013; and whereas, Public Hearing was held on June 19, 1974, and the following boundaries for the West LaPine Livestock District in Deschutes County, Oregon, were established, to -wit: Starting at the corner of Masten Road, designated as Deschutes County Road (E6), proceeding Northerly along Highway 97 to the intersection of Burgess Road, designated as Deschutes County Road (E8), more commonly known as Pringle Falls Road, proceeding Westerly along Burgess Road to the Little Deschutes River, proceeding Southerly along the Little Deschutes River to Masten Road and 0V'6ceeding along said road In an Easterly direction t© I'ts intersection with Highway 97 returning to the point of beginning. The purpose of the Livestock District is to make it unlawful to permit cattle and horses'to"run at large within the described boundaries. The classes of livestock to be prevented from grazing at will are cattle and horses. Now therefore, it Is hereby Ordered that an election be held Tuesday, August 6, 1974, puribant to ORS 607,015 on the i question of whether the District should be formed. It is further Ordered that notice of said election be given as required by law. Dated this 19th day of June 1974. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
