2006-480-Order No. 2006-071 Recorded 5/9/2006REVIEWED LEGA COUNSEL COUNTY NANCYUBLANKENSHIP,F000NTY CLERKS 1~~1 ~44~-484 COMMISSIONERS' JOURNAL 05/4912006 03'49 11 PM III IRIInIIYlllllll 2006-480 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON An Order Transferring and Distributing Certain Monies From the Land Sales Fund ORDER NO. 2006-071 WHEREAS, pursuant to Order No. 2006-037, the Deschutes County Sheriff held a public sale of County owned properties, and WHEREAS, the total proceeds from that sale are $870,250, and WHEREAS, ORS 275.275 (1)(a)(B) allows the County to be refunded the foreclosure fees and penalties for each property upon which the County has foreclosed a lien for delinquent taxes, and WHEREAS, the amount of foreclosure fees and penalties is listed for each property in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated here by reference, and WHEREAS, proceeds arising from the sale of tax foreclosed lands are to be distributed to the taxing districts in accordance with ORS 275.275; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, HEREBY ORDERS as follows: Section 1. The Deschutes County Treasurer shall transfer from the Land Sales Fund to the General Fund the sum of $4736.45 to refund Deschutes County fees and penalties that were assessed on foreclosed properties sold at auction. Section 2. The Deschutes County Treasurer shall distribute the remainder of the Land Sales Fund to the taxing districts within Deschutes County in accordance with the formula established by statute. The Deschutes County Treasurer shall make appropriate entries in the records of the Treasurer to reflect the transfer described in Section 1 of this Order, and the distribution as described in Section 2 of this Order.
