WHEREAS, on June 6, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners ("the Board") signed Order No. 2001-067, transferring certain property to the Humane Society of Redmond pursuant to ORS 271.530, and WHEREAS, the transfer was subject to a reversionary interest in favor of Deschutes County, and WHEREAS, the Board finds that it is in the public interest to relinquish a portion of the reversionary interest; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, HEREBY ORDERS as follows: Section 1. That Deschutes County relinquish its reversionary interest to the Humane Society of Redmond, an Oregon non-profit corporation, in that certain real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2. That the County Property and Facilities Director shall prepare for Board signature a Quitclaim Deed to accomplish the act authorized in Section 1 of this order.
