A Resolution Initiating Proceedings for the
Cagle Road LID to Improve Certain
Dedicated Road(s) Known as All of Cagle
Road, and portions of Pine Drive, Doe Lane,
Antler Lane, Skidgel Road, Railroad Street,
Ash Drive, Oak Drive, Elm Drive, Santa
Barbara Drive and Murry Drive, Deschutes
County, Oregon, Describing the Road(s) to
be Improved; Designating Where the
Improvements Shall be Made; Defining the
Nature of the Improvements; and Referring
this Resolution to the Engineer for
Completion of a Feasibility Study.
RESOLUTION NO. 2006-116
WHEREAS, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement of Cagle Road LID in
Potter's Estate Subdivision, Lazy River South Subdivision, Cagle Subdivisions Plat No's 3,4,5,6,7 and 8
Subdivisions, Deschutes County, Oregon, have requested the Board of County Commissioners to improve
these road(s); and
WHEREAS, it appears that such road(s) should be improved; and
WHEREAS, it appears that it is in the public interest that the Road Department of Deschutes
County, Oregon, perform the required feasibility study for this improvement; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY,
OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. That proceedings be initiated to improve the road(s) described in Exhibit "A" to
Deschutes County Rural Local Road Standards for the benefit of the area described in Exhibit "B",
attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 2. That the dedicated road(s) to be improved within the district described in Section 1 of
this Resolution are all of Cagle Road and portions of Pine Drive, Doe Lane, Antler Lane, Skidgel Road,
Railroad Street, Ash Drive, Oak Drive, Elm Drive, Santa Barbara Drive and Murry Drive, shown on the
map, Exhibit "C", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
Section 3. The road(s) to be improved as a result of this Resolution shall be improved to County
Rural Local Road Standards.

Section 4. Improvements to be made to the roadway within the district include, but are not limited
to, reconstruction of the roadway to a 24 foot wide paved road with 2 foot aggregate shoulders, and
adequate drainage, as well as related engineering, administration, mobilization and traffic control work.
Section 5. This Resolution shall hereby be referred to the Engineer for completion of a feasibility
study in accordance with Chapter 12.48.150 of the Deschutes County Code. The Engineer may engage
the services of any qualified engineer for all or part of the investigation required under Chapter 12.48.150
of the Deschutes County Code.

Located in the North Half of Section 36, Township 21 South, Range 10 East of the
Willamette Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon, also being within the plats of "Cagle
Subdivision Plat No. 3", "Cagle Subdivision Plat No. 4", "Cagle Subdivision Plat No. 5",
"Cagle Subdivision Plat No. 6", "Cagle Subdivision Plat No. 7", "Cagle Subdivision Plat
No. 8" and within the plat of "Potter's Estates", also lying within the plat of "Lazy River
South " located in Section 35, Township 21 South, Range 10 East of the Willamette
Meridian, Deschutes County, Oregon.
Cagle Road:
All of that portion of Cagle Road which lies west of the east line of Lot 7, Block 2 of the
plat entitled "Cagle Subdivision Plat No. 7" and lying east of the easterly right of way
line of Huntington Road as shown on the plat of "Lazy River South".
Pine Drive:
All that portion of Pine Drive lying south of the south right of way line of Cagle Road
and north of the south line of Lot 1, Block 6 of the plat entitled "Cagle Subdivision Plat
No. 3".
Doe Lane
All that portion of Doe Lane lying south of the south right of way line of Cagle Road and
north of the south line of Lot 16, Block 6 of the plat entitled "Cagle Subdivision Plat No.
3".
Antler Lane:
All that portion of Antler Lane lying south of the south right of way line of Cagle Road
and north of the south line of Lot 2, Block 1 of the plat entitled "Cagle Subdivision Plat
No. 5".
Skidgel Road
All that portion of Skidgel Road lying south of the south right of way line of Cagle Road
