In the meantime, it will be winterized. The Oregon State Police "hot sheet" has been received, in which they are seeking RFP's for a site for an OSP office in Bend. The deadline is September 28. The process itself will take several months. The La Pine Industrial Group held a public information meeting regarding the possible purchase of property for the Vulcan Power project. The Board agreed with the changes as submitted, so Mr. Kanner will proceed with having them rescinded. 4. Other Items. Judith Ure asked for approval of the submission of a grant application for $5,000 for the mental health court. Mr. Kanner stated he will keep the Board informed, if the departments share the information with him in a timely manner. Mr. Kanner stated that Bill Linden will be visiting in a few weeks, but as far as he knows this meeting will be between just the two of them. However, he will ask department heads to start compiling their lists of legislative priorities to present to Mr. Linden.
