WHEREAS, Deschutes County has negotiated and approved a collective bargaining agreement ("CBA") with the Deschutes County Sheriff Employees Association, ("DCSEA"), the term of which is July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2009; and WHEREAS, the CBA, by its terms, excludes from representation supervisors and confidential employees; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Deschutes County, Oregon, has determined, effective December 1, 2006, to extend to all sworn, DPSST-certified, non-represented employees of the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, excluding the elected Sheriff, who annually run and pass the Oregon Physical Abilities Test ("ORPAT") the same three percent of base pay premium for running and passing ORPAT as is provided to DCSEA-represented employees under the terms and conditions of the CBA; now, therefore, THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, HEREBY ORDERS as follows: Section 1. Effective December 1, 2006, all sworn, DPSST-certified, non-represented employees of the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office, excluding the elected Sheriff, who annually run and pass ORPAT shall receive additional pay in the amount of three percent of base pay on the same terms and conditions as provided to DCSEA-represented employees under the terms of the CBA for the period December 1, 2006 through June 30, 2009.
