2007-32-Resolution No. 2007-003 Recorded 1/12/2007REV ED DESCHUTES COUNTY OFFICIAL RECORDS C t �j������ NANCY BLANKENSHIP, COUNTY CLERK VAI ` C COMMISSIONERS' JOURNAL 01112'2007 04:53:22 PM EGAL COUNSEL 11111111 IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 1111 2007-32 BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A Resolution Adopting Fees and Charges for Services and Materials for the Health Department, * RESOLUTION NO. 2007-003 and Providing an Effective Date WHEREAS, the Health Department of Deschutes County charge fees for services and materials, and WHEREAS, the Health Department must include new fees listed in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated by reference herein, for dispensed medications and vaccines, and WHEREAS, the need for the new Health Department fees could not be foreseen at the time of the adoption of the County's fee schedule on June 28, 2006, because the new medications were not available to patients at that time, and WHEREAS, ORS 294.160 authorizes the adoption of new fees upon a duly noticed public hearing, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on January 10, 2007, on the proposed fees and charges for services and materials and finds that the fees and charges for services and materials as set forth in Exhibit "A" reflect the actual cost of providing services and materials; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. That the fees and charges for services and materials set forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and, by this reference, incorporated herein, are hereby adopted as the fees and charges of Deschutes County, Oregon. Section 2. The fees and charges for services and materials adopted in Section 1 of this Resolution are effective immediately. Section 3. Multnomah is Deschutes County's best price source for contraceptives as they purchase in bulk for the entire state. It is the recommendation of Multnomah County that these generics be added to our fee schedule as it is most likely the product that will be available. 3 HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Vaccine is a new product for the prevention of cervical cancer caused by certain types of a common virus.
