However, Dave did suggest that we have one change fund, from which we divvy up what is needed to each site rather than having an authority indicating an amount for each site. If that sits well with you, we currently have $2,050 in our change fund and would like to up that by $150 for a total of $2200. The way it's distributed now is: Office - $750, Knott - $400, Negus - $300, Northwest - $300, Southwest - $200 and Alfalfa - $100. By distributing funds from one central bank, it will give us the flexibility to increase tills in the summer and decrease them in the winter. Let me know if you need further info. If there is no existing authority, we should prepare one. Please provide us with the locations and amounts of each of the change funds. Deb -----Original Message ----- From: Jeanine Faria Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2007 8:11 AM To: Debbie Parret Cc: Judi Hasse Subject: RE: Help You are well on your way to making this happen. We will locate (hopefully) the authorizing documentation on the Negus Transfer Station till. We (and by that, I mean Judi) will prepare a resolution to increase the till amount. We've done this for other departments (Health most recently) and it takes some time to prepare, get on the board's agenda and all but it will eventually happen. Upon approval of the resolution, you would prepare a voucher for the increased amount, just as you have described. We have a need for an additional $100 there and I'm not sure if I issue a voucher and get a check cut for Solid Waste (like I would to reimburse petty cash) or can I take it out of Petty Cash or ????
