That the following transfers of appropriations be made: FROM: 326-5000-501.97-01 Deschutes County Natural Resource Protection Fund, Contingency $15,000 TO: 326-5000-432.94-35 Deschutes County Natural Resource Protection Fund, Operating Equipment $15,000 Section 2. One of tools approved in the grant is a display trailer that can be used to display information on noxious weeds, mid their control, at public expositions and events, suc h. as county fairs, garden shows, horse shows, etc. for the three counties of Central Oregon. Me ,nbers of the Deschutes County Weed Advisory Board have done the design for the interior ar.d the shopping for best value on this specialty equipment. The Forest Service coordinator of t us grant was also involves in that process. The cost of the trailer is included in the USDA grant. The grant is bill. ,-d for reimbursement quarterly. The cost of this specially equipped trailer is $12,400. We estimate another $2600 for outside graphics, a generator, and other miscellaneous tools and equipment. Recommendation: l recommend that that we purchase the trailer this spring to have it ready for siunmer expositions. The cost will be reimbursed by the grant before i he end of the fiscal year.
