Chairman Young called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. First matter

Fuqua questioned who had the responsibility of the ditch at the end
of Tempest Drive. Dave Hoerning explained that the ditch is in the
City limits and they have unsuccessfully been able to find out who
dug it or who is responsible for it. As there were no objections to
adding these roads to the county system, Commissioner Montgomery moved
that they be accepted into the county road system. Commissioner Grubb
seconded the motion and it passed with a unanimous vote.
Chairman Young asked for discussion concerning Road Dept. and General
Fund bills. There was none.
The Commissioners, at this time, explained the purpose of the budget
information meetings they were conducting around the county. Attendance
has been good and they feel they are helping to inform the public of
the needs of the county. A budget hearing is scheduled for April 28,
1975 in the Courthouse Annex.
Lorin Morgan presented the Commission with an Amendment to Zoning
Ordinance No. PL-5, pertaining to Caretaker's residence. The purpose

in industrial and commercial zoned areas. Commissioner Montgomery
moved that this amendment be adopted. Commissioner Grubb seconded the
motion and it passed with a unanimous vote.
Abe Young read the Notice of Public Hearing on the land transfer to
the Redmond Municipal Airport (Roberts Field). The purpose of this
hearing is to receive any objections to the transfer of approximately
222 acres of county land adjoining the airport to the City of Redmond
so they can improve the runway. Hearing date has been set for April
30, 1975, 10:00 a. m. in the Courthouse Annex, Conference Room "A".
Commissioner Young moved that this date be accepted for the hearing
of objections, if any therebe, to the land transfer to the. City.o.f

ously.

with a unanimous vote.
