Under Open discussion, Dave Hoerning asked the City if they were going to fund the difference between the $139,000 forest receipt monies and the $171,000 they have estimated for their new road con- struction. Art Johnson explained that the City would be cutting back to the $139,000. Dave Hoerning brought up the point that basically what was happening was that the County and the property owners are building the City streets. He wanted that understood because new street construction in the County is paid 100% by the property owners; no forest receipt monies are used for this pur- pose. Chairman Grubb feels that two different standards are being used. It was decided that since the City does not know what the actual cost of the individual project bids would be, that they would concur on any bids that the City could get (up to $139,000). . v June 2, 1976 Court Day Minutes Courthouse Annex There being no further business or discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 11:30 a.m. Respectfully submitted, BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, r C RMAN COMMISSI t / G All- Zczaw I C) Ytl,3 A~y ~ ~lAeA DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS June 2, 1976 - COURT DAY AGENDA - CALL TO ORDER: ROAD DEPT.
