Chaiman Grubb called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. First order of
business was the 10:00 a.m. hearing on the establishment of Deer Field
Dr., Northwood Dr., Sunset Lane, Frontage Rd., Cascade Land and Holiday
Lane, located in Evergreen Park subdivision as county roads. Dave Hoerning
explained the location of the road and told the Commission they did
meet county standards. There were no objections to said establishments.
Commissioner Young moved that the county accept these roads as county
roads. Commissioner Montgomery seconded the motion with the following
vote: Bob Montgomery, aye; Abe Young, aye; and Don Grubb, aye; motion
carried.
There was no discussion on Road Dept. or General Fund bills.
Next item on the agenda was appointments to the Deschutes County Planning
Commission. The terms of Folmer Bodtker of Bend and John Thom of Redmond
expired July 1, 1976 and they were recommended to the Commissioners for
reappointment. Commissioner Montgomery moved that Folmer Bodtker and
John Thom be reappointed to the Planning Commission. Commissioner Young
seconded the motion. Vote was: Bob Montgomery, aye; Abe Young, aye; and
Don Grubb, aye; motion carried. Their terms will expire July 1, 1980.
The names of Randy Pape, Ed Thompson and Dve Moyer were recommended to
the Commission as willing to serve on the Road Advisory Board. The five
member board has one holdover. Bob Montgomery suggested John Killen as
a possible fifth member. John was in the audience and told the Commission
he would be pleased to serve on the board. Commissioner Montgomery moved
that Randy Pape, Ed Thompson, Dave Moyer and John Killen be appointed to
the vacancies on the Road Advisory Board. Commissioner Young seconded the
motion with the following vote: Bob Montgomery, aye; Abe Young, aye; and
Don Grubb, aye; motion carried. Their three year terms expire July 1, 1979.
Rick Craiger, Associate Planner presented the Commission with an order
amending the Deschutes Co. Ordinance as it pertains to filing fees. The
amendment would allow the county to charge a filing fee on Planning Comm-
ission appeals. Commissioner Montgomery moved that the amendment to the

Deschutes County Zoning Ordinance be approved. Chairman Grubb seconded
the motion with the following vote: Bob Montgomery, aye; Abe Young, aye;
and Don Grubb, aye; motion carried.
There being no further business or discussion, meeting was adjourned at
10:20 a.m.
