FEBRUARY 7, 1980 - DAILY MINUTES
There was not a regular session of the Board as Commissioner Shepard was
in the hospital and Commissioner Paulson was attending another meeting in
Black Butte. Mr. Charles Plummer, Roadmaster had three bids to open for
two pick-up trucks for the county road department.
Chairman Young called the bid opening to order at 10:05 a.m. with himself
present; Larry Huettle and Charlie Plummer were present from the county;
two representatives were present: one from Murray Holt and the other from
Robberson Ford.
The first bid opened was the one received from Murray-Holt which was $6,990.51
fob Bend or $13,981.02 for 2 1980 trucks. Forty to forty-five days delivery time.
The second bid opened was the one received from GMC Goodwin Brothers, in
Salem. Their bid was $6,960 ea fob Bend. The Goodwin Brothers allow 6-10
weeks delivery time.
The third and last bid opened was from Robberson Ford in Bend--$6,982.15.
