BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
JULY 14, 1980 - Seventh Mountain Service District
Chairman Young called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. Present
for the meeting were the following persons:
Chairman Young
Commissioner Shepard
Commissioner Paulson
Helen Rastovich, County Treasurer
Lou Dvorak, County Counsel
This was a budget hearing for the Inn of the Seventh Mountain Service
District. Lou stated that the commissioners were sitting as the budget
committee for the Inn of the Seventh Mountain Service District.
Chairman Young read the budgetary message for 1980/81. The message
contained what the service district hopes to achieve with their
approved budget. All the commissioners had seen the budget so it was
not necessary to read it out loud. There was some discussion over
where the different monies would go. Mr. Howard Kraus, engineer
for the Seventh Mountain Service District explained the procedures that
was to follow for construction.
There were further questions asked of Mr. Kraus and further discussion.
It was discussed that this budget would need to be published before
it could be adopted in case there is any opposition to it.
Mr. Kraus had another matter to discuss with the Board of Directors
while they were.in session. This matter had to do with the type of
irrigation system they were proposing to put out in the district.
They have found out that the system they want~to put in is very expen-
sive and have gotten several cost proposals from several agencies.
Mr. Kraus stated that the proposal from Fisherlmplement was the more
favorable by approximately $800.
There was.a motion..made_regarding the proposal. -

in the amount of $4,354. Sprinkler nozzels not

COMMISSIONER SHEPARD: Second.

COMMISSIONER PAULSON: Aye.
CHAIRMAN YOUNG: Aye.
Mr. Kraus said that the districts wants to put a flow-- meter into
the effluent system which had not been originally intended. A
change order would have to be executed amounting to $1,578.00.
MOTION: COMMISSIONER SHEPARD moved to purchase the flow
meter.
COMMISSIONER PAULSON: Second.
VOTE COMMISSIONER PAULSON: Aye.
COMMISSIONER SHEPARD: Aye.
CHAIRMAN YOUNG: Aye.
The commissioners were reminded that they were to go on a tour of
the Seventh Mountain County Service District with Mr. Kraus.
