suggested per memo from Bruce Knowlton of January 20, 1981.
The following changes were suggested in the work session
before the Board of Commissioners yesterday during their

clearly stated.
Change the last line of Section 5.170(la) to read:
Right of way, provided however such sign area does not
exceed a maximum of 500 square feet.
Other comments from the Board included the possibility
of leaving the option open to the applicant that if they
did not have a free-standing sign, they would be able
to allow more wall space for signing. Young and Paulson
agreed with this suggestion. Shepard was not sure at
this time. Paulson suggested that Bruce draft something
to this effect into the ordinance to prepare for the
1st reading and adding an emergency clause. Paulson
then closed the hearing.
