Deschutes County Clerk Certificate Page If this instrument is being re-recorded, please complete the following statement, in accordance with ORS 205.244: Re-recorded to correct [give reason] previously recorded in Book or as Fee Number and Page DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS April 13 and 14, 1982 - Courtday Meeting Chairman Shepard called to order the meeting of April 13 and 14, 1982 at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14. Commissioner Paulson and Commissioner Young were in attendance. Chairman Shepard noted there were three amendments to be included on the agenda. Discussion Chairman Shepard indicated he discussed with Dean regarding Hunchienger, Director of Central Oregon Council on Woodcutting Aging, the possibility of administering the $2,500 Program grant for the Deschutes County Wood for the Handi- capped and Needy Program. He noted that Mr. Hunchienger stated he would be pleased to administer the grant. Chairman Shepard also indicated he had talked with Tony Whitney, who operates the program, and it was agreeable with him that COCOA administer the grant. MOTION: PAULSON moved that the Board award the grant of the Deschutes County Wood for the Handi- capped and Needy Program to Central Oregon Council on Aging for them to administer. YOUNG: SECOND VOTE: SHEPARD: AYE PAULSON: AYE YOUNG: AYE Appointment Chairman Shepard stated that Donald Urell's term on the to Board of Central Oregon Regional Housing Authority Board of Directors Directors expired on August 17, 1981 and he needs to be reappointed by the Board of Commissioners. MOTION: PAULSON moved that the Board reappoint Mr. Urell to the Central Oregon Regional Housing Authority Board of Directors for a full term. YOUNG: SECOND VOTE: SHEPARD: AYE PAULSON: AYE YOUNG: AYE Appointment to Chairman Shepard noted he had received a letter from Advisory Board Jean Beake, Chairperson of the Deschutes County Adult and Family Services Advisory Board, advising him that Susan Hatton (term expires 6/30/83) and Lisa Lieberman (term expires 6/30/85) had resigned. Chairman Shepard stated the letter also recommended for appointment John Webre and Charles Scroggins. MOTION: YOUNG moved that the Board appoint John Webre to replace Susan Hatton and Charles Scroggins to replace Lisa Lieberman, terms stated above. Rick Isham, County Counsel, stated he would research the definition of "public employee." There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
