This position is under contract with the Deschutes County Juvenile Department, as specifed in the Memorundum of Understanding between the two departments. The Juvenile Department will reimburse the Health Department for all hours provided under the MOU. The MOU is negotiated annually, but it is my understanding that this is a permanent increase based on the needs of the Juvenile Department. Upon your approval, an appropriation transfer request will be submitted to the Finance Department who will prepare the required resolution. Attached is a copy of the current MOU and the budget implications of the increase in FTE. Thank you for your time and attention. '04"� AePK- P(RA FY 07-08 July 1, 2007- June 30, 2008 Memorandum of Understanding Between the Deschutes County Health Department (DCHD) and the Deschutes County Juvenile Community Justice Department (DCJCD) This amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") is an annual adjustment to the original terms. Payment for Services: TERMS: DCJCD will pay DCHD on a quarterly basis based on actual expenses reported in H.T.E. for services performed under this agreement. The maximum consideration authorized under this agreement is $ 80,795.00 for July 1, 2007 until June 30, 2008. The consideration authorized under this agreement will be amended annually by separate written agreement. PERSONNEL SERVICES: DCJCD will be provided with a registered nurse 30 hours per week, (.75 FTE), and include 2-3 hours per week NP, and a $400/mo stipend for Dr Knapp which is required to support the practices of the RN. MATERIALS & SERVICES: 2. Termination: This MOU may be terminated at will by either party upon 30 -day written notice to the other party.
