MEMORANDUM
To: Dave Kanner
Copy: Board of County Commissioners
Date: September 24, 2007
RE: Increase in FTE
Dave:
I am requesting an increase in FTE, from .60 FTE to .75 FTE, for a Public Health Nurse II. This
position is under contract with the Deschutes County Juvenile Department, as specifed in the
Memorundum of Understanding between the two departments. The Juvenile Department will
reimburse the Health Department for all hours provided under the MOU. The MOU is
negotiated annually, but it is my understanding that this is a permanent increase based on the
needs of the Juvenile Department.
Upon your approval, an appropriation transfer request will be submitted to the Finance
Department who will prepare the required resolution. Attached is a copy of the current MOU
and the budget implications of the increase in FTE.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Sincerely,
Ue-
Dan Peddyc
