BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON
A Resolution Declaring Certain Personal Property
Surplus and Directing Disposition. * RESOLUTION NO. 2007-141
WHEREAS, certain personal property described as a Blazer Industries Inc. prefabricated structure,
Serial No. 96-6505-07, owned by Deschutes County is no longer needed by Deschutes County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (the "Board") finds it to be in the public interest to
donate the personal property described herein to a nonprofit organization that serves the residents of Deschutes
County, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF DESCHUTES
COUNTY, OREGON, as follows:
Section 1. The personal property described as Blazer Industries Inc. prefabricated structure, Serial No.
96-6505-07, is hereby declared to be surplus property of Deschutes County.
Section 2. The Deschutes County Property Specialist will advertise in the Bend Bulletin the availability
of the surplus property for use by a nonprofit organization. Based on a recommendation by the Property
Specialist, the Board will select a nonprofit organization to receive the surplus property.
Section 3. The County Administrator or the Director of Property and Facilities are authorized to sign
documents to transfer title.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and signing by the Board of
County Commissioners.
