DESCHUTES COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2007
Commissioners' Hearing Room - Administration Building - 1300 NW Wall St., Bend
Present was Commissioner Dennis R. Luke and, by conference call, Commissioner
Michael M. Daly. Commissioner Tammy Baney was out of the office. Also present
was Dave Kanner, County Administrator; Laurie Craghead, Legal Counsel; Chris
Bedsaul, Community Development; Erik Kropp, Deputy County Administrator;
and citizens Jack and Andrea Blum, Steven Hultberg, and, from Leadership Bend,
Anne Mendenbach and Conor Carlsen. No representatives of the media were
present.
Commissioner Dennis R. Luke opened the meeting at 10:10 a. m.
1. Before the Board was Citizen Input.
None was offered.
2. Before the Board was Consideration of Second Reading and Adoption of
Ordinance No. 2007-025, a Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment to
Change an Agriculture Designation to a Rural Residential Exception Area
(Applicant: Smith-Pagel).
Chris Bedsaul gave a brief overview of the item, and said that all conditions
have been met, and there were no changes to the documents since the first
reading.

regarding a Zone Change from Surface Mining to Urban Area Reserve
(Applicant: Coats).
Chris Bedsaul said all conditions have been met and no changes have been
made to the documents.
