No representatives of the media or other citizens were present. Chair Luke opened the meeting at 10:00 a.m. 1. Before the Board was Citizen Input. None were offered. 2. Before the Board was Consideration of First Reading of Ordinance No. 2008-027, Amending Code to Address Time Limit Notice for Incomplete Land Use Applications. Kristen Maze and Laurie Craghead explained the text amendment. Chair Luke opened the public hearing. Being no testimony offered, he then closed the hearing. The order of proceeding for this public hearing will be as follows: The Board of County Commissioners will first open the public hearing on TA-XX-XX. The staff will present the report and answer any questions posed by the Board. Next, the Board will open the hearing to public testimony. We ask that your present your testimony at the front table or at the podium. If you wish to speak you should sign up on the forms provided at the front table to my left. In order to make the process as efficient as possible, we ask that those of you who testify limit yourselves to 10 minutes and avoid redundant testimony. If prior testimony has stated your position, please indicate your agreement and add only new evidence you wish to offer for consideration. Please note that this hearing is also being taped. The Commissioners may make a decision on this matter tonight, continue the public hearing to a date certain, or leave the written record open for a specified period of time.
