2009-1328-Resolution No. 2009-062 Recorded 6/29/2009ZCO �_ SEL DESCHUTES COUNTY OFFICIAL NANCY BLANKENSHIP, COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' JOURNAL IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII l III 2009-3328 CLERKDS Q 2009-1328 06/29/2009 08:27:39 AM BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY CONMUSSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON A Resolution Appointing a Financial Assistance Administrator for Deschutes County Health Services and Authorizing the County * RESOLUTION NO. 2009-062 Administrator to Approve Related Contracts, WHEREAS, Deschutes County, acting through the Health Services Department will enter into contracts with the State Department of Human Services for the provision of public health services and the performance of mental health, developmental disability and addiction services and such agreement requires that the County appoint a Financial Assistance Administrator, and WHEREAS, the Financial Assistance Administrator should be a person knowledgeable about the available public health and mental health services and capable of dealing with a large volume of transactions in a timely manner, now therefore: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CONMSSIONERS OF DESCHUTES COUNTY, OREGON, as follows: Section 1. Scott Johnson, the Director of the Deschutes County Health Services Department, is duly appointed as the Deschutes County Financial Assistance Administrator with respect to certain contracts pertaining to the Health Services Department Financial Assistance Contract, Biennial Plan and Strategic Plan. Such appointment shall continue in effect so long as Scott Johnson is an employee of the Deschutes County Health Services Department and until a successor is appointed. Section 2. By Board policy, the Financial Assistance Administrator is authorized to perform the functions of such appointment and is charged with authorizing contracts as set forth in the Health Services Department Financial Assistance Contract, Biennial Plan and Strategic Plan, as adopted by the Board. The Financial Assistance Administrator may sign agreements with respect to contracts, subcontracts with third party service providers, amendments, and agreements, and Intergovernmental Agreements with the State Department of Human Services, which do not exceed a dollar amount of $50,000 or documents with no fiscal implications. Section 3. The County Administrator may sign all contracts, subcontracts with third party service providers, amendments, agreements, and Intergovernmental Agreements with the State Department of Human Services, in excess of $50,000 but not to exceed $150,000.
